Stars All Day Long Bonus

How is your week going? Mine is going great. I am working on wrapping up some projects and I am starting some new ones, too. I look forward to sharing them with you in September!
How do you all feel about hand stitching? For me it is so relaxing and I love it. The problem is that I don’t always have the space or the time. I need the dining table to do hand stitching and since that is the space for eating…quilting on the table leads to dust, random threads, and a little bit of a mess. (big sigh) So, I am working out a system to quickly set up, put away, and clean up. So far so good. I will keep you posted;)
Those of you who are subscribed to the Newsletter will receive a diagram of how to add a border to the pattern STARS ALL DAY LONG. This small addition really set the quilt off. I just love it! Plus, it is a great way to use the remaining fabric from the Half Square Triangles. So in other words, you don’t need to purchase more fabric to make this border. You already have it. Yay!
You know something? I naturally take this step of using the remaining HST. I just didn’t think to include the idea in the original quilt pattern! I guess this happens when something is second nature. My bad!
